American Aberdeen Angus are a small angus breed that were developed in Australia. They come from orignal angus stock and are actually 100% angus, but have been selectively bred to be small. Ours are grass fed - that means no grain. Ever.

- Aberdeen are DELICIOUS! It is, after all, angus.
- Smaller animals are perfect for smaller families who want to all the cuts from whole or half beef, but don't want to spend the money on a full-sized steer.
- Aberdeens finish well on grass which means you get lean, healthy meat without sacrificing flavor.
- Since Aberdeen are smaller, they're perfect for smaller acreage. You can raise 10 Aberdeen on the same acreage as 6 full sized Angus.
- The small size also makes them easier on fences and pastures.
- They are naturally polled.
- They are great grass converters. You can get more pounds of beef from an acre of pasture than any other beef cattle.
- They are very gentle and easy to work with.

Irish Dexter
Irish dexters are a small dual purpose (beef and dairy) breed from the hills of Ireland. Their small size and hardiness make them the ideal cattle for small landholders.

- Like Aberdeen, dexters are small they're perfect for smaller families or people who want smaller cuts. You can buy a whole or half animal and get all the cuts without spending nearly as much as if you bought a commercial sized steer.
- Dexter beef is the beef for "foodies". It's truly gourmet. In taste tests, dexters regularly finish at the top of the list. It's often featured in fancy British restaurants and on cooking shows. Watch the video below for proof:
Why dexter cattle are a good choice for us (or any farmer)
- Dexters are very small - about half the size of regular cattle. Small acreage farmers can have twice as many.
- They are very docile and non-threatening
- They're dual purpose. They give lots of milk and delicious beef. Perfect for the homesteader or hobby farmer.
- They are very hardy. They were raised to survive on minimal forage in the Irish hills and do very well on minimal forage and in harsh conditions.
Jumbo Broilers
This bird is a cross between white Cornish and Plymouth white rock breeds. The result is a very meaty delicious bird. Ours are fed grain from the local feed mill and are never given hormones or antibiotics. They are free range, but not pastured, so they are very tender and fat.
